暖水壺曾是香港不同年代家庭生活中常見的日用品，承載著日常所需與時代記憶，卻少有被納入設計與文化討論。

 

在「水壺傳 // Flaskscape」中，攝影師久米美由紀以自己的視角，呈現舊式暖水壺的圖案、色彩與造型設計。壺身的花鳥山水和裝飾語彙，反映出不同時期的審美取向與社會文化背景。相中的暖水壺，皆來自久米小姐三十多年來的珍貴收藏。在她眼中，每個暖水壺上的圖案，都是生活中的一幅畫；這些風景不僅實用，亦點綴著日常，成為家中獨特的景色。而攝影作品，希望把舊物轉化為屬於現代的新風景。

 

Vacuum flasks were once a common household item in Hong Kong across different generations, serving daily needs and carrying memories from their times. Yet, they have rarely been part of design or cultural discussions.

In「 水壺傳 // FLASKSCAPE 」 photographer Miyuki Kume shows vintage vacuum flasks from her unique perspective, highlighting their patterns, colors, and shapes. The floral, bird, and landscape designs express the distinct aesthetics  of different eras and cultural backgrounds. All the vacuum flasks in the photographs are from Miyuki’s own collection, built over more than thirty years. She sees every design on a vacuum flask as a painting from daily life; these scenes are both practical and decorative, becoming a unique part of the home’s scenery. Through her photography, these old objects are transformed into new landscapes for today.
